What is kombucha?
Kombucha is a fermented tea; it is made by placing a Symbiotic Culture of Bacteria and Yeast (SCOBY) in brewed tea for a period of time. The culture takes fuel from the sugar and nutrients in the tea to create a sweet, tart, and somewhat fizzy drink. Kombucha fans around the world have identified many benefits for consuming kombucha; benefits include aid in digestion, better absorption of nutrients, reduction of inflammation, and more.
We think kombucha should not only be healthy but also delicious and enjoyed by everyone. That is the reason we created Lapp It Up! Kombucha Tea. When you take the first sip, you will notice the difference.We keep it unfiltered, raw, and undiluted. Each batch is made with the highest quality ingredients along with a whole lot of love! This girl's vision for owning her own business came to life in Summer 2014: inspired by healthy food, living vitality, and fermentation.
My name is Junita Lapp; Founder and Owner of Lapp It Up! Kombucha Tea. Upon introduction to kombucha, I thought this fizzy drink was weird! For me, it was not love at first taste. However, I craved for more of this funky drink after the last gulp!
Later I decided to learn how to brew my own kombucha to satisfy cravings. While sharing my kombucha with friends and family, I discovered I am very passionate about sharing my love of kombucha and fermentation.
Because of our wonderful and loyal customers, we've grown as a business! In 2015, we obtained access to a shared industrial kitchen to accommodate the growing demand for our kombucha.
